Well, its 10pm on Monday 9th July.I have been choosing photographs out of loads, that i have taken for my sketch book and i think i have chosen well. I have been setting up little 'still life' compositions in my shop, in the dark with various pieces of antiques, mirror, chairs and other objects, these are for and in preparation for my next series of paintings in oil on gesso board.
Recently i visited the RA Summer exhibition and really enjoyed it, here is a pic of us all. I was particularly impressed with some of the Lino cuts; great colour.The oil paintings of Ken Howard showed just how one can achieve light. Speak soon Cazzie
