Resetting eyes on my Bar Code portrait as  proportions were not correct and not too my liking,probably will take ages to re do but it has to be done (wasnt happy with them at all!) Bar code is nearly finished. Looking at an article that talks about 'engaging objects audience participation in culteral zoo' ( Brenson Micheal) Interesting how he has observed that interaction of spectator, viewer and object, sound art sculpture has type of 'had its day'  and that less is more when it comes to engaging with art works cy

Applied my Bar Code to a painting today using a stencil technique, really pleased with the result. Although it has taken me a week to sort out the best possible way to apply this Bar Code. Initially I was going to paint it on, but my hand is shakey, after several attempts I could see it wasnt working.So decided to copy the Code onto photo quality paper and reverse, then cut the bars accordingly. I then applied stencil onto surface of painting (hey presto) but the paint started to peel away from the surface after removing stencil which created a 'used' look. ( a happy accident) I am very glad to say.cy

Wednesday is MA day

Great meeting Helen today, had a good chat and caught up with 'Arty' news. Cherie couldnt make it but caught up by phone.Started reading a book called, 'Yes' 50 secrets from the science of persuasion, could be useful! CY
